Memory Gerd Leidig - April 2005
Dear fistball friends,
with great sadness and deep disappointment we got to know, that under the circumstances of the horrible Tsunami in December 2004 our member of presidency, Gerd Leidig and his wife Jutta lost their life.
The funeral will be held on Friday, 22nd of April at the cemetery of Ludwigshafen- Friesenheim at 1 p.m.
Our deep regret and condolence as president of the international fistball family I have expressed, together with Secretary General, Dr. Ludwig Schoener to his daughter Nina and her husband.
With Gerd, the International Fistball Association loses not only a loyal, conscientious and highly qualified referee, but also a great friend being always in a temperate and lucky mood. For every person being involved in Fistball, Gerd was a competent adviser and determined and powerful expert. Just a small step behind him, his wife Jutta, well known to all of us supported him by all his activities on congress and national and international competitions.
It has been the decisive wish to improve and support by a donation, instead of flowers, the school project in Guatemala "Plan International".
