First start-up package sent!

Swasiland is the first country to receive the newly created start up packages of the IFA - including balls, net, DVDs and basic coaching material. After a short period of email correspondence the IFA realized enormous efforts in establishing fistball in this country and wants to emphasise their optimistic plans in establishing fistball on a worldwide basis.
Information and documentary will be published as soon as they are available.

Obituary Prof. Dr. Heinz Frankiewicz

Dr. Frankiewicz was IFA Board Member from 1990 to 1995
Shortly after his 88th birthday Dr. Frankiewicz, a former IFA board member, died on 20 February 2013.
He was president of the Fistball Federation of the German Democratic Republic from 1978 to 1990.

Fistball federation founded in Australia!

Australia might be a new member of the IFA shortly. Rolf Petersen transmitted the great news that the Autralian authorities accepted the registration of the Fistball Federation of Australia (FFA).

Fistball is moving in the USA

In 2013 the USA Fistball Association is organising 3 outdoor tournaments on 3 weekends in a row, in 3 different cities.  

Development Aid Volunteer wanted!

The International Fistball Association has approved a new development programm, wich is built on different steps and modules.
As a first step the bigger and experienced Member Association are involved. In different countries these members are engaged to teach basic-knowledge.

Fistball on the occasion of the International Gymnastic Festival 2013

From 18th to the 25th of May, 2013 the next International Gymnastic Festival will take place in the Rhein-Neckar metropolitan area in Germany.
A big Fistball Tournament will also be staged in Ludwigshafen.

Successful IFA education seminar in Cali

Over 50 participants were thrilled by the new education course of IFA.

Novo Hamburgo is the winner of the Men's World Cup

After a "tough" match in the first leg, which the Austrian Team, Union Schick Freistadt, won in 2:4 sets, the home team, Novo Hamburgo/Rissul turned the competition into its favour by winning the second leg 4:0 sets and the necessary deciding set by 11:7.
