Pakistan hosted an international Friendship Fistball event from 07-November to 14th, November under the Supervision of Punjab International Sports Festival 2012 at Lahore, Pakistan, sponsored by Government of Punjab.

On November 3rd and 4th 2012, the U16 Southamerican Championships for national teams and clubs U16 were organised in Argentina.
showNovo Hamburgo is the winner of the Men's World Cup
After a "tough" match in the first leg, which the Austrian Team, Union Schick Freistadt, won in 2:4 sets, the home team, Novo Hamburgo/Rissul turned the competition into its favour by winning the second leg 4:0 sets and the necessary deciding set by 11:7.

showSigning of the contract for the Mens World Championship 2015 in Argentina
On Tuesday, October 16th, 2015, the contract for the WC Men 2015 in Argentina was signed at the Casa de la Historia y Cultura del Bicentenario, between the International Fistball Association (IFA), the Fistball Association of Argentina (FAF) and the local organizer. Present were around 80 persons, amongst others important representatives from the government of Cordoba as well as from the commune of Villa General Belgrano.

The Austrian Team won the title for the third time in a row and can therefore keep the trophy definitely.
In two thrilling games in front of twice 500 spectators, they beat the team CCAA from Rosario.

IFA education course and inspection of the premises for the next men's world championship 2015 in Argentina are other events around the world cup of the women.

At the conference in Schweinfurt for the schedule of the IFA-competitions the board has fixed the dates for the years 2013 until 2015.
The U-18 World-championship women and men was advanced to April 16th to 20th, 2014, due to the climatical conditions and also in view of the then current Football World-championship in Brazil.

On September, 1st and 2nd, 2012, the german championship took place in the town of Weisel. Qualified for this final competition were the three top ranked teams from the Bundesliga (1st division) North and from the Bundesliga South, women and men.

In the Final round of the Swiss Championship, the titleholders are the same as last year. Embrach the women's team and Diepoldsau, the men's team, are the old and the new champions.

Coming Saturday, September 1st, 2012, Swiss Fistball is celebrating its 50th anniversary in Jona.

In a thrilling match the Swiss defeated the defending Champion Austria in four straight sets.
Next to the again world-class acting Schreiber the whole team was on the same level.

Whilst Austria clearly qualified v. Italy, for tomorrows final at 2 pm, the second semi final between Switzerland and Germany was more equal.
showEuropean Championship Men 2012
In the morning of the day before the start of the European Championship the Board of IFA inspected the premises and was full of praise of the preparation work. In the evening the Lord Mayor of Schweinfurt gave a reception for the Fistball Family and was proud that the Europeanchampionship was held in his hometown, which also has a great tradition of Fistball. The teams feel very comfortable and were looking forwardn to start this event.

Coming Friday the European Championship men will start in Schweinfurt/Germany.
After the phantastic U18 World Championship in Cali, six teams are competing for the European Champion men.

In a quite equal final the Austrian team was a track better at the end of each set and won the titel finally without problems. The mens final was also thight for the first two and a half sets until the Swiss team showed some lack of concentration thus losing the third set clearly.

Austria v. Germany in the womens-. and Switzerland v. Brasil are the finals in the U18 worldchampionship
Whereas the Austrian women team beat Argentina in three straight sets rather comfortably, the mens team of Brasil faced an amazing comeback by the Austrians who turned down six matchpoints in the third set, only them to loose the fourth one due to lack in physical condition. Germany's women and Switzerland men were already dire tly qualified since they won the round robin competition. Argentina v. Brasil women and Austria v. Germany men are the matches for third place.

Germany in the womens- and Switzerland in the mens competition are the first two finalists. Since the qualification of Germany could be expected, the achievement of the swiss team can rather be classified as a suprise.
showGreat surprise on the first day of the U18 Worldchampionship
At the mens tournament titelholder Germany has lost two of its preround games v. Austria and Brasil and faces its elimination to regain the trophy should it loose v. Switzerland. Columbia on the other hand realised a great surprise by beating Chile in strait sets 3:0. in its first ever official game. Columbia only started playing regularly fistball three month ago.
At the womes tournament Argentina could surprise and won the southamerica-challenge against Brasil 3:0.

On July 25th, the U18 Worldchampionships women and men will start in Cali/Columbia.
These Championships are a pre-event to the World games which will be organised in 2013 in Cali, which are rated as second biggest polisportive event after the olympic games.

The champions of Germany, Austria and Switzerland will meet in Grieskirchen (AUT) on July 6th and 7th for the Eruopean Cup.
The participants are Sparkasse Grieskirchen/Pötting (AUT), TSV Pfungstadt (GER) and SVD Diepoldsau (SUI) as well as the actual titel holder Union Freistadt (AUT)

The women and the men U21 Europeanchampionships will be held on July 13th and 14th in Diepoldsau (SUI).
The women temas of Switzerland, Czech Republic, Germany, Italy and Austria, as titel holder, will compete for this title.
Germany as titel holder will face Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Austria and Spain (Catalunya).

From July 25th to 29th the 5th U18 Worldchampionship men and women will take place in Cali/Columbia. This exactly one year prior to the World Games from July 25th to August 4th, 2013.
Germany (defending champions in both categories), Austria, Switzerland, Argentina, Brazil, Chile and also Columbia are the participants.
showEuropean Championship men 2012
The most important IFA events for national teams 2012 in Europe are the European Championship. Next to the women in Switzerland, the men will compete in Schweinfurt/Germany from August 17th to 19th, 2012.
Within its 150th Jubilee, the "Turnverein Schweinfurt-Oberndorf 1862" will be the host. Next to the title Holder Austria, the Vice-european Champion Switzerland, Italy, Serbia, the Czech Republic and the actual World champion Germany will participate.
